cylinder 1 misfire??? white smoke???

As stated in my other thread, my 2006 is idleing really rough and blowing alot of white smoke. today it got really bad and i checked a code that said cylinder 1 misfire? What could be a cause of this? It had brand new injectors under warrenty and the updaded flash already, which seemed to fix this problem about a month ago when i had it at the dealership. But now its doing it again... Any ideas about the code? thanks

the code means the solenoid on #1 is not firing or going bad. time for new a new injector or injectors.

The dealership just put all new injectors in a month ago?

recheck the connections on the top of the injector and also that the crossover tubes are torqued properly. What was wrong with the other injectors?

They said that 3 of them were bad and the other three were getting there so they replace all of them. And i had brought it in because of the white smoke and rough idle. It seemed to have fixed the problem until now

This is not meant to scare you, but... The code actually means that #1 cylinder is not making power once it is warmed up. This is often caused by a bad injector, but anything that causes a lose of power in that cylinder could set the code. I had dropped a valve seat in #2 cylinder, and it set the code for it. You can swap injectors (ie, move injector #1 to cylinder #2) and see if the problem follows the injector to rule it out as a problem. I would also suggest you do a compression test while you have the injector out.

Most importantly. Do not drive it, until you have it checked out. I highly doubt it's an injector solenoid or wiring connection, because of the white smoke. White smoke normally means that there is unburnt fuel, and no matter what the cause, can lead to major engine damage.
