hello,

i am an average guy with time on my hands and have thought about going to a school for diesel repair. actually i am interested in our CTD engins and nothing else.

my question is this, is there a school that one can enroll in and learn all he needs to know to keep our trucks up and running to include trouble shooting? also what would be the cost of the school and where might it be located?

I believe Carson Dodge in Carson City NV. has a "Diesel 101" class that they put on from time to time. I have seen their ads on TDR. May not be in-depth enough for what you are looking for though.

Grandson went to Wyotech in wyoming. 6 month class was around $30k though. He is a fully certified diesel mechanic for marine, farm, comercial and automotive diesel repairs. Very concentrated classes but referals to empl;oyment and other perks also. Oh, Banks equipment has a heavy presence there also.
