CTD + Allison

Re:CTD + Allison
Mopar_Mudder, I would agree with you. Most people are so misinformed it is rediculous. You would not believe some of the crap I hear in this bussiness. Any Dodge trucks out there with an Alli in them have been converted to be that way cause Dodge never built em like that.

I've seen stuff like that before too. It's amazing how dumb some people are, or how they'll believe anything that they're told. The Ford owning Cummins rumor is a case in point. I cannot believe that rumor is still going around. Even when I correct people, and show them the proof on the Cummins website, some of them are ignorant enough to NOT believe it, and continue to spread the false rumor. It's amazing!

Now my blood is starting to boil a little. Better get to work. ;D

CTD + Allison
The thing with the GM Allison as I understand it is that when the transmission starts overheating the computer begins de-rating the engine to save the tranny. If that's true how good can they be? Dodges' new 6-speed auto maybe the hot setup if it's as good as I've heard it is.
