Cruise Control Jerk
Ever since my truck was new, the cruise control causes the truck to jerk or chug when going down grades...towing or empty. Drives me nuts.
Anyone else seeing this too? Known fix for the problem?

Mine does this as well when going down hill, especially bad if I have the Quadzilla turn up to level 2 or 3. The throttle has to move so little to accelerate the truck cannot fine tune the throttle enough to keep a constant speed going. I have just learned to not use cruise when in rolling hills.
Good luck

My truck does this also, It only seems to do it on moderate hills with the cruise control set. I have observed the rail pressure fluctuating back and forth when it does it. It is almost like the truck doesn't know if it wants to slow down or speed up.
It is very annoying to me since I got the new trans, because there isn't much slop left in the trans now to absorb the fluctuations.

Thanks guys. Good to see I am not alone. Like you levigarrett76, I have tried disconnecting my Predator chip to see if that was the cause, but no, it wasn't.
Guess I will live with it until someone with some stroke finds a fix.
