Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak
I started getting a creaking sound a few months ago. It only happened when i turned left. Then i went on a hunting trip where i drove on forest service roads for miles on end. After that it does it when i turn left/right/stop/go etc... I found a loose sway bar end link and thought i found the culprit. NOPE, so i figured it may be my shocks. They are the stock ones BTW. just changed those and it still creaks. I am thinking it may be a body mount...
What can i check next???
It only happens when i am driving. when i rock the truck in the driveway it doesnt do it.
its driving me nuts

Yup its the ball joints, it looks like all 4 are gone. YAY for me!!!
I am looking on rockauto.com and they dont have crap for 2wd ball joints. i found out that the upper is in conjunction with the control arm. Went to Moog webpage and they dont have anything for a 2500 but they do for the 3500. I would assume these are the same parts but just want to make sure. Anyone know if the 3500 / 2500 are the same?
Edit: never mind, i found everything on rockauto.com
