Plenty of tranny threads. Use the search function. Yes, you need to upgrade the flexplate. Dosen't have to be ATS. I would get a Suncoast laminente or the like. Tranny has nothing to do with Cummins. It's a Dodge flexplate. Yes, they do break often,especially with a modified tranny/TC.
