Crank Case Full of Diesel Fuel

So all of a sudden, yesterday morning my truck shows no oil pressure at a stop light, flash the throttle and it comes back. Finish driving to work just a few miles and no more issues. Drive home drops 1 more time but comes back. As I back into my garage, the pressure bottoms out again. Shut the truck off and pull dip stick out and it is full of diesel fuel. A very reputable mechanic told me that it is a cracked injector housing, do a compression test and replace all 6. Reman Bosh injectors are 315 plus tax for stock injectors. Does everyone agree with this or have you had other experiences? I am open to suggestions. Oh my rig has 230K miles on it now. Mostly Stock, Edge EZ box, AFE Stage 2 intake, and no muffler is all the mods done to the truck.

First, the mechanic's advice is safe, but expensive. I would pull all six injectors and test them. Only one will most likely be leaking, but a solid health check is wise. Never buy remans, the risk to engine failure is too high. Buy new Bosch.

First, the mechanic in question is correct.

Second, I hope the zero oil pressure situation didn't toast your engine. If you hear knocking at all in the near future, shut it down and rebuild immediately. You could have lost rod or main bearings. The turbo is also now susceptible to failure.

With the age and mileage of the truck and coupled with the use of the Edge EZ (this is a pressure box notoriously hard on injectors and may have contributed to your present situation) I would be inclined to replace all 6 injectors.

I got all 6 from a place in FL for 1109. They list on Ebay. Diesel Logic. Mine work great. Stock HP Oem spec

They didn't even whack a core up front. They send a return slip. if you don't return they whack you.
