Correct Blistien Shocks & Rancho
Well forum it is time to pick your brains. The H2 rims are on & the suspension dept must be upgraded. I have read through the search forum on installing Blistien shocks and really just confused myself with too many fact & fiction threads. The question is does Blistien make a shock for the 2500 4x4 with 2" level kit & if this item does exist does anyone know the correct part #? I know T Rex has a system but the cost is just a little out of my budget. Plan B is if no Blistien product available then Ranch 9000 it will be. Plan B question is I have reviewed 2 sets of part numbers here & would like the forums knowlage on the corret setup. Front # is RS 9221 the question is in the rear area I have 2 diffrent #'s RS 9269 & RS 9274 . Can you help send me in the right direction I am so confused...
Just a side note, thanks for all the help on setting up this truck right the first time. You guys are great & that includes you too Scotty. Keep up the good work
You too can BOMB your truck, just work a lot of overtime

Well if you spend waaaaay too much time researching (like I did) you will find that Bilstein lists a shock for raised (2in)3gen 2500. The "catch" is that it wasnt designed "specifically" for our trucks but nonetheless fits and is the right length. They are a 5100 series shock which is a higher line. The front ones carry part # BE5-6681H5 and the rear is BE5-6647H5. I just ordered and received these myself and will be installing with the 2in lift up front. You can go to "www.jackit" where they also list these shocks. Shop around, they will run you about 300. Hope this helps ya.........

LRAmberson,
I put Rancho RS 9000's on mine and here are the part numbers for the front and rear, stock height. These numbers show up for the '03 in the catalogue but are for the '04 too. The Rancho catalogue did not list an '04 part, but they knew what it was at the factory.
