Cold stumble no power
I notice on first startup in the morning that my truck sometimes will not rev up. Is this from the air heaters shutting off before the motor is warm?
Wondering if this should go to the dealer for a check up.

No check engine light?
intake air heaters not performing could cause some misfire (more misfire the colder it is), but the engine should still rev. Even if its only firing on 2 cylinders.

Does go away with more warm up but where I live we do not typically get below 35 degrees on a cold morning.

I think it happens when you first start the truck and it is pulling max draw on the heater grids, if you look at the voltage guage it is down quite a bit, pump might not be getting quite enough power to get the juices flowing, happens liek you said first few seconds after start on chilly mornings. I think there are two grids and when both are pulling power it happens, alternator doesn't spin quite fast enough to give it more voltage, anyone try a smaller pulley on their alternator to spin it a little quicker?
