can someone tell me what g code stands for. i was driving home on the 4 of july and my truck just died. i was going to have it towed to the dodge dealership but it was closed so i had it towed home.and dropped it in my drive way. after the tow truck left i tied to start it and it fired right up and haven't had any problems since. the check engine light was on so i didi the key trick and it flashed a g code. the next day i was going to take it to dodge . i started the truck up to leave but the check engine light went out. any info would be great. thanks ahead of time.

I checked and didnt see a listing for "g"
Might have to contact the dealer.

 

"G" is new to me ..I have never heard of it??

 

i have only seen 'p' codes.

g code is a machine langauge for CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines.

 

there are..."P" "C" "B" and "U" codes DC uses "P" and "U" codes for their trucks......
