Code PO304 Cylinder 4 misfire?
Hey everybody, my '06 2500 engine light came, then went out.? I ran a scan at home and came up with this code: Code PO304 Cylinder 4 misfire. Sometimes the truck runs rough like it is missing? So my question, "where do I begin..." Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Thanks for the reply. You know it never seems to burn oil. The oil level never seems to change, it is above the add mark right now? I change the oil every 5k. It's due right now and I'll look into that. I have 116k on the truck now and the factory warrenty ran out at 100k or 5 years for the injectors. I'll have the dealer run a dianogstics,(compression, injectors) for a 100 bucks and see what they come up with. I'll post what they come up with later in the week. Thanks again for your suggestions..

There are other things to check but for the most part what you said is a tell tail sign.

Now what?
If it's above the add mark and you used 3 gals at change then one of your injectors is leaking (bleeding down pressure) while it's sitting. Running past the piston and into the oil.
