Code P0633

Code P0633
"P0633 - SKIM Key Not Programmed in PCM"
I have the above code being displayed, and I found the "subject" of the code in a previous post, but would like more details about it, and whether it warrants another trip to the dealer right away. The truck has 400 miles on it, and just had the re-flash for the 600 motor (hesitation) last week. The code showed up when I was toggling off the "rolling lock" for the doors. It was not there before receiving the flash.
Thanks,

How did you go about getting the reflash? Did you just take it to the dealer? Does it have to show up thru your VIN number that it needs the reflash? Did it make a difference on how it runs or in fuel mileage?

I had been in the dealer two days earlier for a similar problem. I found the TSB number on a forum, and called the service writer back. I supplied him the TSB number. He said if my truck was a candidate, they would re-flash it. I checked on the Dodge site, and entered in my VIN, but it never has any information. I think that VIN lookup is strictly for national, public recalls that are listed at NHTSA. Before the flash I noticed an intermittent hesitation between 1500-2500 (I have the automatic tranny), but I never noticed any white smoke. After the flash there is no hesitation that I can feel. Since I haven't even finished running the first tank of fuel through it, it's still too early to tell about mileage. The engine code in the subject popped up today when I was fooling with the door locks, but I know for SURE it was not there prior to them re-flashing. When I took the truck in , I was also having a problem with the "auto lock" resetting itself. I would toggle it off, and the next day it would be back. Maybe they "fixed" the auto lock, and the result is this code P0633?

Where/what is the TSB number for the reflash. I live in Texas where it doesn't get as cold but when it has gotten around 30...mine has had the same hesitation. I also hear a lot of pinging kinda like a gasser on low octane fuel and my tailpipe is thick with black soot...way too much I think. I have contacted 3 different dealers and most of them don't even know about the 600 yet.
