clutch slipping

i have around 65000 miles on my truck, the last 5000 miles i have had my edge juice w/ attitude hooked up. ive never taken it past level 3 but, that must be enough to take its toll on my factory clutch. lately ive been driving it on level 1 and it still slips alittle bit. so im looking for a good aftermarket one. any suggestions would be appreciated.

2006 CTD, Quad Cab, 4x4, 6 speed manual, dually
Jacobs exhaust brake
Edge Juice w/ Attitude
B & W turn over hitch w/ Prodigy brake controller
65,xxx miles

I drove an '05 w/SBC's 3250 DD. Nice manners w/moderate neutral clatter. I think that's the way I'll go when the time comes. A Fluidamper is suppose to suppress the noise further.

I have a SBC 3600# 12 CB Sprung Hub and it is very friendly. Make sure you upgrade the hydrolics also, they stocker will push a 3250, but not last very long from what I have heard.

Agreed you will need the upgraded hydraulics. The 3250 SBC DD is a nice set-up, especially for towing. However, it will rattle in neutral, even with the sprung hub. Just making sure when you get it you are not surprised by this new noise coming from the clutch....

I think you'd be more than happy with an OFE, I just put mine in.
Not much different feeling than stock, just a tad more grabby but the difference hardly noticeable.
Rated at 450 HP but will take 550.

I thought the 3250 DD was overkill for me, didn't want the noise or the slower shifting so got the OFE and saved $300.

the OFE sounds like the one for me. but do they sell a clutch that will work with my stock flywheel that will still hold up to 450 hp?

No, you gotta get rid of the dual mass flywheel the factory put on.
You'll also have to get the hydraulic upgrade.
Clutch should be around $1000 with the flywheel, hydraulics are another $300.
(anyone else noticed the hydraulics could be a tad longer?)

Okay, I know some people will tell you they did their clutch in 6 hours or something, but I worked by myself with hand tools, it took me 3 days, about 16 hours?
I had help removing and sliding the tranny back in, I also had a great tranny jack my friend loaned me, a big huge thing meant for semi's, you could adjust the angle on it and everything, was pretty cool.

I got some advice if you're interested.
Last clutch I did was on my 79 GMC, a l-o-n-g time ago but I have a DODGE manual and the instruction from SB and lotsa advice from a whack of good people on here. No regrets doing it myself.

Yea, pretty tight... I think they could afford to add a few inches to the line...
