Clutch slip
My clutch just started to slip yesterday. It's got 107k miles on it. It only slips in 6th gear when trying to pass. Is this normal? And how long can I expect the clutch to last?

Yep, it's on it's way out, just like mine. It will last for some time, but you will notice it slipping more and more, starting with the higher gears on hills, towing, passing, etc. Start saving your $ if you haven't already done so.

I've been running it on the highest level. Guess I'll be turning it down to level 2. So it's not strange that it only slips in 6th gear? I thought it would slip through the rest of the gears as well... What does a clutch cost?? And what would a good upgrade be?

Usually clutches start slipping while in the higher gears.
Not sure on cost due to the variety of clutches out there but I hear good things from both South Bend Clutch and ValAir. I would contact both for recommendations.

heck, i ruined my clutch at 24k miles. you got over 100? you're doing good. with the additional power, and larger diameter tires, your clutch's life is going to be short lived.
i have contacted south bend and told them my mods, truck usage, and eventual power desires and they suggested the con ofe.
