My check engine light came on (i think it's supposed to be a picture of an engine or tranny) yesterday and I got a ding. I was driving on the freeway and then all of a sudden it down shifted, up shifted, and down shifted again. I pushed on the gas and nothing happened. I pushed the gas all the way to the floor and then about 3 seconds later the truck took off. On the way home it did it at least 5 or 6 more times.

It seems like it's trying to find a gear and keeps down shifting and then when I push on the gas there's no response.

The truck only has 10K so I'm sure it's covered I just wondered if anyone had an idea what this was?

Check the codes.....sounds like a bad governor pressure transducer and/or solenoid. Hin: Replace them both if you have to drop the pan. They aren't too expensive and you'll be upset at yourself if you have to do it all again!
