what tranny fluid should be used in the 48re automatic tranny?

Mopar ATF 4 its about $9.99 a Quart

I was thinking about putting this in

its $9.05 a Quart

Walmart has Mopar +4 for 2.25 a quart.

approximately 6-7 quarts. Depends how long truck has been sitting, the more fluid drains back.

had mine flushed, filter changed and a mag-hytec double deep pan put on and it took 18 quarts.
