I've owned Dodge products since 1967....I haven't had one that DIDN'T seep somewhere.

I need to get you some pics of mine. The engine compartment looks like a massive blob of oil and grease. The dip sticks are the only clean item in there. It self undercoats with every trip. I have not replaced any seals yet, because it has not consumed enough oil to make it a big deal.

Front pinion leak detected right after 3/36 expired, I had it replaced at around 70K, back started leaking around 75K and is still leaking now at 90K. I will replace it soon as it leaves a little dribble in the driveway now and again.

Dealer replaced mine. Cost $84 and took them 21 minutes.....I'm more expensive than that.

I have a couple bolts on my pan that are wet... it isk kind of wierd... JUST the bolt head is wet and it is 2 right in a row.. I was thinking they might be just a little loose, unless my pan gasket is cracked there or something.. It never drips anywhere just they are always wet..

Woodrep.. you say you use JD plus 50? How long have you run it? i work at a John Deere Dealership and it would be a little cheaper just to tap out of works 55gallon barrel. It is about 500 miles from needing an oil change... I used Rotella the first time i changed it and that was dam expensive... it was like 70 dollars for oil and filter.....

I've got the pan bolt halo, probably has to do with the fluid being a synthetic?

Also, I am not using JD. I do know that it's great stuff. If you are talking about the engine oil I would have no problem running it in my truck at all, but I have settled in to the Amsoil extended changes on my engine oil and am realizing a savings of both time and money using it. It's the only way to make having a bypass make sense in my opinion.

Back to the original post. HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE FRONT DIFF YOKE SEAL!?!
