i"ve made this on my 03.... you"ll need a "elbow fooler" and a "boost fooler" the stock 03/04 have around 22/24 lbs of boost!! you should have 32/35 lbs once everything gonna be done... the boost fooler was an necessity on my truck because it throw a "cel" (overboost) i"ve seen a good difference once the mod were made....

I didn't need the boost fooler!
I have an 03' with the Bully Dog Triple dog and I used an adjustable pneumatic flow control in place of the stock elbow. I adjusted the flow control such that at 20 psi on the inlet, I feel a slight air flow from the outlet. I ran it for a test with the flow control completely closed, and with the outlook monitor hooked up, I did not get any fault codes for overboost. So you may want to try it without the boost fooler first, You may not need one.
If you want, I can look for a part number for the adjustable flow control. It is just a simple industrial in line flow control. The ones on E-bay look like a homemade job. It looked like a standard elbow that someone drilled out and tapped with a setscrew to restrict the flow. Either way the object is just to restrict the flow to the wastegate actuator.

I'd be interested in that part number. I just swapped in a 2005 turbo so I can't use the adjustable boost elbows and since it is no longer electronically controlled it isn't really giving me any more boost. The in line adjuster would be perfect!

cmnsdsl,
I will get you the part number, but it is still just a pneumatic flow control. It will work very similiar to the adjustable boost elbows, just with a finer adjustment. Can you use this with a turbo from an 05 if they are electronically controlled?
