Breather Bottle
I was crawling around under my new toy and noticed it does not have the breather bottle like my 02 did. Did Dodge/Cummins do away with it on the 03 model?

Re:Breather Bottle
You are correct. DC did away with the bottle. I had one on my 01.5. It was directly behind the fan and blew oil all over the engine. They have now eliminated the bottle and routed the hose further towards the rear. I have never had a drop of oil on the driveway. ;D

Re:Breather Bottle
At least they dont route it back into the intake to be burned(clogged) like the TDI's do, and many other engines. Ick. I did a similar mod to my TDI, which ran a hose form the ccv to the bottom of the car. Never really had many drips, one or two in 59k. I will say tho, that the drips were some of the stickiest, gooeyest stuff ever!!!! Definitely dont want it in the intake!

Re:Breather Bottle
Good to know DC/Cummins thought about this one in the 03 model. The front of my 02 was constantly getting sprayed with oil mist and making a mess of the ole' cummins. Anyone know where the hose is if it has one?
