Brakesmart Install Tonight - Brake Bleeding Question

I'm doing my Brakesmart installation tonight and wanted to ask if there are any gotcha's while bleeding the brakes on my 2005.

I've never bled ABS brakes before. Is there an order to the bleeding operation? Driver rear, passenger rear, driver front, passenger front?

Bleeding is done with the engine stopped? Key off?

What brake fluid do I need to pickup and how much do I need?

Thanks in advance!

If all you are doing is installing the brakesmart, you won't need to bleed the whole system.

Unhook the one brake line from the master cyl, per the directions, tighten the little junction block into the master cyl, and tighten the brake line into the junction block.

If things line up right, you won't need the little hose that comes with the kit and the sensor can thread right into the junction block (but don't tighten the sensor yet). If not, tighten the hose into the junction block.

Grab a rag, hold it around the sensor, have someone step on the brake pedal and hold downward pressure, doesn't have to be running, and loosen the sensor a bit until you get brake fluid coming out of the threads, then tighten it.

If you do use the hose, it's probably a good idea to hold the sensor above the master cyl while bleeding, to make sure you don't trap any air in there.

It shouldn't loose enough fluid to need to add any, and shouldn't take more than a minute or so.
