Boost Fooler question

Hey I've got a buddy with a stock '06 Cummins that is interested in a boost fooler. The truck is stock except for muffler and silencer ring removed. Would he notice an increase in power? Is it safe to do with a stock truck? Thanks for any input.

Should be fine on a stock truck. I ran one on my truck for a while, did notice the power was different and there was a bit more but, the mileage went down and the smoke increased.
