blown motor @ 65000 km (45000 miles)
It started a few days ago when I Fired it up and after few minutes it went into High Idle, then the Oil pressure Gauge dropped to zero and the "check gauges"
light came on. So i shut it down and checked the oil , it was fine. I fired it back up and it had full oil pressure again and was fine for the rest of the day.
The Next morning it did the same thing. And I checked the Oil and Restarted it and it was good again for the rest of the day. Then I drove home From Calgary to Saskatoon (About 600 km) and it was good the entire trip. The next morning It did the same thing and I checked the oil and it was good. I started driving down the Hiway to work and about 10km from my house It started knocking.
By the Time I Stopped I was knocking super loud. I shut it down and checked the oil. Now there was None on the Dipstick.
What happened? Oil pump?
So now I am taking all my Preformance Parts off So that I might be able to get warranty. My truck Only has 65000km on it (about 45000 miles)
Do you think I should also put the stock exhaust back on the truck also?

If you know the dealer and can discuss this with them...do that first.
Otherwise, if you pull all the stuff off and leave them to possibly read your ECM and see that changes the performance electronics had done...they may get a bit defensive. Make sure you talk to the service mgr only about this and document everything with him/her. Also, determine what it was. I had a motor go on my 04 and it was #5 cyl one exhaust valve dropped. I was out of warranty but I learned that there are several that have had this happen.
Hope it works out for you. Here in Regina, I was documenting my tick and knock well before the engine blew with a dealer...they still ducked out from under the problem because when the engine blew it was at 186,000 KMS even though I was documenting the complaints and visits with the dealer and was assured..."Drive it and when something happens we will fix it." Luckily for you, you are still under that magic 160K on the engine.

That filter may cause you more grief than the mods. Last I read or heard Fram filters were not on approved list by dodge/cummins. They tend to come apart inside and plug the oil galleys and oil cooling jets under the pistons.
