block heater
hello, just changed oil and did grease job, looked for cord for the block heater could"nt find, I have a 2007 5.9, invoice on truck says I paid 10.00 for a block heater, does this mean I was to get a cord also?, or do I have to get one from cummins? went to dealer and they said that they come with the heater from cummins but you have to buy the cord separate,or are they trying to rip me off, thanks for the help

DC rip you off? What do you think??
Go to the DC parts counter and ask for a price for the heater cord. I'm guessing about $35. Go to your local Cummins store and spend about $8 and you'll be in business. It is about a 10 minute job to install and yes, all Cummins engines came with the heater installed as standad equipment.

it should be there if it states on the invoice look again you could have missed it. my came with it.
open your hood and look real close right about above the front tow hook the cord is black, kinda between the fog light and tow hook. but you have to open the hood to see it.
