Big Tires

Does anybody know how big of tires you can put on the stock wheels and not have any issues. I have a 3500 4 wheel drive. It's a single rear wheel. I'm currently running bfg 305/65/17 I have not had any issues with them but I would love to squeeze a little more in there! Thanks for the help.

You can run 285/75/17 which measure close to 34" w/ no rub...a lot of guys on here run a regular 35x12.50, which will rub the radius arms at full turn just a little bit. Bfg and maybe some others make a 315/70/17, which is almost a 35x12.50, I ran those on my 04.5 for a while on stock wheels, but those also rubbed the radius arm a little.

I ran the Toyo AT 285x75x17 before going to the 35's and had no problem at all with the 285's. Their AT is 33.8 inches tall and their MT is 34.1 and slightly wider but still would not cause a problem. With 35's I have the level and H2 rims and have no problems with them but as stated before on stock rims they will rub a little bit.

I have the BFG M/T's 35x12.50, and they rub at full lock on the control arms. I think that 305/70/17's fit great... I had them before, that's what I'm thinking about going back to.
