Best Techs in Phoenix and So Cal Dealerships
What dealerships in these two areas should I take my truck into for some warranty work. There is a chance I may have some injector issues, Air Conditioning problems (no cold air) and finally the weatherstripping. I travel to both areas and want the best diesel techs to look over my truck. You might as well give opinions on places to avoid.

S.H. Cowboy,
Are you experiencing "injector knock" at lower rpm's (idle to 1400)?
If the dealers don't do anything, you can, possibly, correct it yourself. I would fill the fuel filter bowl with Sea Foam & run the "crap" out of it. It's an injector cleaner that eliminates the carbon build-up on the injector tips. Works real well. Many of us have tried it successfully.
After the Sea Foam treatment, start running a fuel additive, regularly. I, also, run 4 oz. of Marvel Mystery Oil per 10 gals of fuel for the added lubricity & cleaning.
My experience with the dealer regarding my injector issues was that DC's mandatory testing does not show anything wrong with the injectors, even though the service mgr. & tech's could hear it. Therefore, DC would not replace or fix my problem. I read about the "fix" here & on the TDR. It worked great for me.
The problem seems to be that if you don't run these new engines, really hard, carbon builds-up on the injector tips & you start getting the knock.
Hope this helps.

It seems to be like Detonation on a Gas engine when applying a load from a normal 45 mph cruise. Step on the throttle and you get the sound. Once the engine spools up (more slowly then without the rattle) the sound goes away.
