Yep 37,000 miles. I've noticed it get much worse over the last couple thousand.
So what are my options here? I'd like to find some that last awhile since labor is like $750.

I have a source for billet ball joints for 2006 trucks. Not sure if they are the same for 2007. Last I checked they are about 60 days out. Drop me a pm if you'd like me to notify you when their available.

Well 37K means I'm out of warranty. Worst part was it was in the shop just 2 weeks ago getting an AC compressor under warranty and I didn't think my balljoints would be bad, although I'm sure it could have used them then. Think they'd make an exception?
On a side note they showed me the play in them so I know they're bad. But they aligned it and the few miles I drove it to home it seemed ok.

be careful when they show you the play in them. Was it side to side or up and down on the top one?
Had a Dodge mechanic with a pry bar pushing up and down on the top joint, flexing the knuckle, and said they were bad. But when the top joint is new, it will move up and down about 1/2". It is floating.
But if the bottom one was moving, or the top has side play in it, well then it is bad.

Bottom one was moving up and down as far as I could tell. But they actually said the top ones were worse. Dont' know about side to side play.
It's going to be at relentless diesel tomorrow and I might have him take a look at it and let me know.
The thing actually drives ok though after alignment so I'm not too worried, I'll just keep the money to fix it in the bank incase.

My alignment has not lasted more than 1000 miles on mine yet..... I went through 4 sets of joints in less than 100,000 mi. All covered mostly under warranty after fighting with them. ( I paid $250 each time or something)
The last time, they had it on the rack for inspection, what do you know, joints bad again. Mechanic was prying up and down on the top joint, showed they were bad.
Really not any side to side play (measured with an indicator, maybe .001-.002" thats it)
I told him to go get a new top one and look at it. They slide up and down a lot when brand new. its not really a ball joint on top.
He didnt know what to say, he said thats how Chrysler taught him to check them at their training.
Not saying yours arent bad. At that time, I replaced mine with Greasable joints just because I had it apart and they have been fine since.
Now as for front axle U Joints. God I had 5 sets on each side so far in 120,000 miles. Pretty pathetic. Just replaced them with Spicers (had to machine them a little to fit, snap ring grooves are .010 too close) but they have been working fine since then.

The local alignment shop said mine were bad, DC said they were good. Moog says up and down is OK, anything else is bad. I have been running them 20K miles since I was told they were bad and I would soon crash and die.

The owner at relentless diesel said they aren't good but it drives ok. I'm going to see how long it holds alignment.
The valve body he put in is sweeeeet though . Holds gear and doesn't shift too hard.

You know the only thing I can think of that would cause this is that I try to grab the outside parking spot when I can and sometimes bump the curb going in.
The truck has literally spent 99% of it's life on road and I've rarely ever hauled tail down any rough dirt roads.
You can tell the joints are bad since it has a little slack in it and wonders somewhat... But not bad.
I think I'm going to wait till Carli makes a bottom joint and install them myself.
