I don't know about a 2WD 3500, but on my truck the ball joints were purchased by themselves.

Changed my brakes over the weekend... one of my upper ball joints was missing the rubber boot. So, I'll likely be replacing before long.

I've not looked hard yet, but I did notice Moog only listed the lower joint and the upper control arm (with the ball joint installed) for te 2wd model. The Moog control arm (P/N MOOG-K7462 for $162) looked more stout than the factory samped version. The lower ball (P/N MOOG-K7465 for $33) is lited as a seperate part.

The photos and write ups I've seen appear to be for the 4wd models... they look a bit different on the 2wd version. ;-)

Does anyone know if the upper ball jiont on the 2006 Ram 3500 2wd can be changed without changing the whole control arm?

Thanks,
John.
