Is it possible to add a grease zirk or drill a hole and use a needle grease tip ,then plug the drilled hole with a machine screw so that factory joint would last longer?...

best way to keep grease in your ball joint and tie rod end without zerts is with a needle grease fitting. pierce boot and fill full of molly grease.

usually ball joints and TRE will go darn near forever if kept full of grease.

I'm a bit confused here because Rockauto is showing the K7448 as the upper for Dana 60 axles... When did they use a Dana on a 3G Ram??

I went to RockAuto's website and looked under a 04 4x4 3500 and don't see anything about a Dana 60 axle. It list the K7448 for the upper and it's adjustable. You may be looking in the 1500 truck or something. Don't know but the 3500 is right.

I found what you were looking at, it was the 2500 application. The printing for Dana 60 has got to be a misprint by RockAuto.

I put in Moog greasables. From O'Rielly's uppers are $119 and lowers are $72 each.
