Bad injector

On my way to the dealer to pick up my diesel 2006 2500 5.9. The issue was a bad PCM and also a bad injector. My truck has 180k on it.

My questions are should I change my fuel filter? Should I be using an injector cleaner of any kind? I was told the injectors look like they are original OEM.

Thanks

Darren

You should be changing your fuel filter as often as your Owner's Manual tell you. Quality Kits available from Geno's. Some folks use injector cleaners, most don't. You are getting up there in miles so you may want to consider sending your injectors out for testing and/or rebuild on your schedule, instead of the next time one goes out. Flux Diesel Injection (formerly F1) used to test/rebuild. Not sure if they still do or if they just sell stock and performance injectors.
