Aviation oil in fuel

I have some Aeroshell 40wt engine oil. Any reason I could not add a quart per tank to get rid of it in my 5.9

What year 5.9 we talking about? earlier....5.9 engines are a lot more forgiving on what passes through the injectors.

Most likely as long as it isn't synthetic you are OK...but you don't say whether it is new or used oil?

If your filling your tank then 1qt would be fine. Less fuel=less oil. I would do it and not look back.
