APPS Problems

Have a 2004 3500 dually with 174,000 miles. Was driving down the highway and got a dead pedal, the check engine light came on at the same time. Checked the code and it was a P2121. After doing some looking on the internet, it seemed like most people replaced the APPS sensor and it solved the problem. So I ordered an APPS sensor from prosource diesel and installed it. Didn’t have any problems for the first day, but the next day the intermittent dead pedal came back along with the same P2121 code. I’m thinking there’s probably a loose connection/ground somewhere. Any suggestions?
