Anyone using Premium BLue Extreme?

Just wondering how this product is working for the guys/gals using it. I am nearing a time when i can switch to Synthetics in the engine and this is one of my options. I would like to stick to a CI4+ oil and one made especially for our trucks.. Thahks for the advice..

I was going to try it, but couldn't find it in my area. I just changed to Rotella 5w-40 Synthetic. I know it is not a true Synthectic, but I heard good reports on it.

I used PremBlueEx for about 6,000 miles with good results. Oil analysis showed excellent wear and additives still left when I made the change. I've also used Delo, Mobil1 and now Schaeffers and all have come back with excellent results.

Hey Roperteacher, I know you are pretty well sold on CI4+- but you should try a run of one of the new CJ4 oils. I bet you would get better wear results. I believe the idea of CI4+ being better is invalid...perform your own UOA's to confirm it. Hey man, eventually you will have to use CJ4 or whatever spec is out there because it can't last forever...

D-Roc... I put the PB CJ oil in my crank this time today!!! I decided it was A-OK... I will probably switch to AMSOIL 15/40 Synthetic on my next OCI...

I have been using it for over 3 years now. It is fine. What are your concerns?

I have been using the same oil for a year now with my bypass filter and stratapore filter and my oil analysis came back good at 22,000 miles.
I will probably also switch to amsoil when they tell me my oil is no good anymore.
