I'm thinking about trying it. With all the potential fuel issues and even Bosch saying 7 micron isn't enough, I figured it couldn't hurt?

Any thoughts......

Yeah, I put mine on about 3000mi ago. But I got the one with the big line
parts.

I think it's a good investment.

Yeah, I have the MK-2 + Big Line kit also. Worth the $196 out-the-door cost. Easy to install and nicely executed.

I installed mine last Saturday, same concerns with the quality of available fuel and Bosch's warning. Got the 392 perf Walbro pump kit also. My stock pump was always in the 9-10 psi range at cruise but I figured the 2 micron filter would potentially take it out. I read recently on this forum (or TDR) that someone had to have the factory pump replaced with the in tank version on his nickle to the tune of $1045 plus the tow so that moved me to get the GDP pump kit and the MK-2 for about 1/2 that. Upped my confidence level in the fuel system for sure. Easy install and great instructions in both cases. No association with GDP, just my $.02

I am very happy with the MK-2 kit, I got the remote mount and big lines. My fuel pressure did not change. Next project will be the pump kit. Should end ALL fuel filtering and pressure worries from the stock stuff to the cp3.

I, too, have the MK-2 + Big Line Kit and the GFS 392 pump system. Very impressed with the ease of the install. It's great piece of mind, too.
