im surprised no one said, bring it by my place. i will drive it. LOL
I leave mine sit for weeks at a time as well. no issues. lots of good suggestions here.
you may want to cover the exhaust pipe. critters like the big hole.

Yeah, I agree all good comments. I try to keep fresh oil in the crankcase. Sitting long times the oil additives should be at their stongest point, not weak. Every two weeks, take a trip long enough to heat the engine to normal operating conditions. Also the exhuast temp should be up long enough to dry out the exhaust pipe. Short start and stops and long sit times are real bad. Drive to lube the drive train. Also which out for the furry things from making a home under the hood in the intake air box! or having a lunch on the truck wiring.

and if it's a manual, good idea to get it started & in gear- or an old trick for tractors that sit is to prop the clutch pedal down... otherwise the disc can rust to the flywheel... and it can be real difficult to break free...
the trick for preventing mice I learned from bikers... dryer sheets... turns out mice hate the smell of 'em, and won't go near 'em... bikers pack intake & exhaust with them, and don't have any mouse problems..
