Anti freeze smell

Started noticing this weekend. When I exit the truck there is a stong odor of anti freeze. Can't see a leak anywhere has anyone experienced this issue?

There is a small bypass hose under the exhaust manifold, you can see it if you look inside the passenger side wheel well. The clamps loosen up usually causing a small leak that will drip onto the exhaust.

I agree. I had this happen on my 06. Most likely this is your problem. Take a 10 mil wrench (I think) under the truck. It will take about 10 seconds to fix. The hose is about 8 inches long under the exhaust manifold.

If that doesn't do it, be aware that the overflow from the expansion tank has a huge hole in it leading to the drain tube. A hard stop or some bumpy driving can slosh some out and make a mess.

My truck had the same leak (those hose clamps).

It would loose a drop or two off the bellhousing, and I couldn't tell where it was coming from, until I saw a thread about that hose.
