Question Alignment question and front end replacement parts

I was having some strange wear on a front tire, so went for an alignment and was first told I needed to replace the tie-rod, so I did...went back on the rack, and now they say they can't align because the front end now needs an adjustable (?) ball joint on one side to correct the camber (hope I got those terms correct). Does this sound like a normal Dodge front end problem. The truck only has 44,000 miles and have already replaced these parts, is this normal. I'm thinking some of the issue may have been the shocks that I never changed when adding the leveling kit and also the wheels that I ran for so long that had 4.5" backspacing and maybe causing some poor geometery issues. I've never experienced the "death wobble" or really any major issues minus the tire abnormal tire wear. Has anybody else had to replace ***** joints/tie rods this early? Thanks.
