Airing/Balancing DRW

I have an 05 dually and it is a pain in the _$$ to change the tire pressure with the stock valves. I am thinking about putting in extension valves but do not want to throw off the tire balance. Just wondering if I should go to balancing beads instead of weights on the tires. Anybody else been through this before me?-your comments would be much appreciated.

I didn't change anything on the truck but I did buy a tire pressure gauge with a dual head and a dual head chuck for my air compressor. I still have to locate and feel around for the stems on the duals but it's no long a problem to check or adjust air pressure.

Here is your answer, it's not cheap, but they sure are nice! And very easy to change tire pressure! They are a real quality product!

Tire-Man

Forget about the Master ZIP™ Airless Valve Extenders and Air MasterTM Dual Tire Inflators! I tried them and they don't work right, more trouble than you care to experience!

Tire-Man valve stems are the way to go!

Ditto, I did the same as Lee S and have no problems.

I have extensions on mine and I use a truckers tire guage, as far as affecting the ballance I have not had any problems.

Ditto; and my truck already had the extended stems when I took delivery.
