That's my 1.5 cents
Winner! I run the same filter... Love it.

I called Geno's and confirmed that the filter they had listed 53034249 was in fact the AA filter. The picture also shows the old style. I purchased 2 of them and have recieved them and they are the new 53034249AA filter.

Interesting. I called about three weeks ago informing them of the new deep pleat model out and the rep didn't seem to interested.

I called, confirmed and ordered 1/26/2010 and received the order 1/29/2010. I live in Georgia only about 60 miles from Geno's hence the quick delivery.I can assure you that these are the new filters.

Could you please post the dyno sheets you have for the power gains so we all can learn?

I myself run a True Flow filter. I noticed no gain in performance per say that I could tell. But the filtration was far better then my previous AEM and stock filters. You ask, how I know this. Well prior to new filter installs for all filters I put oily finger prints on the lid after it was cleaned on the filtered air side to act as dust collectors. Both the stock and AEM allowed much more dirt/fine dust to pass and stick to the oily finger prints.
The True Flow has shown about 2/3's and less of the amount of light dust on the collectors then the other 2. This was after 6 months of driving here in AZ and it gets dusty.
So I'm sticking with True flow for now. I'd post the picks I had of each but my lap top hard drive crashed so I lost everything.

My Q is what makes the new Dodge air filter so great compared to the old one, does it filter the air better in find dust, offer better CFM, what makes it so great compared to a Fleetguard air filter? My self I sure would want to know what I'm getting for the $12.00 higher cost!

They do not look like a fleetguard filter to me. Just an extra deep Napa Gold/Wix 2846.
