Adding Oil Between Changes
Only have 11800 on my truck. First oil change @ 7000 miles. So I've got 4800 miles on this one & its down about 1/4 of a quart. Just don't seem right to me. Is this common, are you guys finding your oil level dropping.

Might even be the time & place you check your oil. Is it level? Do you check it when the engine has been sitting or just after you shut it down? It takes awhile for all the oil to get back to the sump after shut down.
1/4 quart is nothing to worry about all. Like posted before you may loose that much through the blow by. Remember, you have 12 qts.

Wait for a bit more break in before even trying to determine...1/4quart is not much to worry about! I work for Honda and if there is an oil consumption complaint we have to fill the oil full, seal the oil cap (using special tape that will show if it has been removed) and have the customer return at set intervals to record the level to record actual consumption. Honda's spec for normal consumption is 1 litre for every 1000 KM. If it is anything less then we cannot warranty it as it is considered normal.
As others have also said...make sure to wait at least 15min after parking on a level ground to check as it can take a long time for oil to drain back down into the pan. Also always check the oil at a consitent temp as the oil can expand some if it is hot.
I suggest keeping a speadsheet with consumption data so that if you do need to make a complaint for warranty that you can provide the data from as early as possible to support your complaint if you need to go that route.

11,000 miles on my 05'. I just had to add a quart of oil. It is not leaking because there is no oil spots on the garage floor. The truck is not daily driven and will sit in the garage for days on end before I drive it. I am not really to concerned about it.

On my '03 I'd estimate it consistently uses a bit under 1 quart in 10K mile oil changes. That's by measuring how much oil comes out of it, not by a dipstick check. Must be burning it off as there are no spots on the driveway and no evidence of leaks under the hood.
I classify this as "not a problem" and have not been topping it off. Worry about 1/4 or even a 1/2 quart? On a 12qt system? No way.
Unless you are consistently parking in the same spot (so the same slope on the ground) and letting the engine sit for exactly the same amount of time before each check, I can't even see the dipstick being accurate enough to measure a 1/4 qt.

Are you sure its down on oil?
The owners manual says to wait 10-15 min's after driving it for all the oil to drain back into the crank case.
Also the add line on the dipstick is about 2 quarts worth, seeing 1/4 quart on that would be very hard.
