Here is where I put my switch.

I also run mine all the time. It makes my truck warm up about 50% faster. The install was pretty easy. It took about 3 hours with a few beer breaks. Its basically a bolt on install, other than drilling a couple holes for the air tank.

The instructions were well thought out. I highly recommend the Pacbrake PBXR.

I forgot to add,the Pacbrake comes with an accessory kit so you can use the Pacbrake compressor to air up tires,*****,etc. It comes with a hose about 25' long. Long enough that I can air up the rear tires if needed.

ahh that would be nice to have in the desert!!! let the air out of the tires so i can make it through the dunes then air them babies back up when i get to the road!!!

what kind of pressure does it make?

It doesn't make a ton of pressure and doesn't have much volume,so I don't know that I'd try and air up 4 tires unless I HAD to.

But for airing up before towing (adding 10-15psi) it works fine.

150 p.s.i., but low volume. Pacbrake has upgrade kits with larger compressors and larger tanks.

There's a big Dodge gathering in Glamis this weekend. If you're not busy come on out. PM me if you'd like more info.

There is a fine point you will find where you have enough pressure on the pedal to have the brake not engage, but are also not accelerating..

You get used to it. I have not turned my brake off since I got it, except for a couple of situations where the truck was colc, but I did not want the extra noise of the brake engaged...

I love driving with it, because if you time the turns and stuff right, you hardly ever us your service brakes... Also great when you need to slow down quick. Drop it to 2nd gear, the truck will downshift when ready and it really slows you down fast...

I highly recommend getting one...
