7/70 Warranty
Hey Guys , I am taking my 2005 to the dealer tomorrow , I have to transfer the warranty , not much of it really left . The truck is at 68,900 .
The truck has been throwing a P0237 low boost code ... it had the map and the iac changed less than 6k ago .
Just had a trans and water pump also done , the trans is still covered and I want the remained of the 100k on the motor .
That P0237 code would not clear on friday with just disconnecting the battery , so the truck was sitting yesterday and when i went to start her up today ... it was gone til I stopped at my moms and then restarted and it was back .
So I am going to leave the truck when I go over to the dealer to transfer the warranty .
I just brought my truck down to my shop to see if I see any thing else ... The Power steering box has a slight leak at the top of the box , not sure if thats covered ?
I also checked the ball joints , they seem tight but did find some up and down movement in the axle bearings ... both had some movement ... if it was a conventional adjustable old style I would have to tighten up the hub .
Besides that I did not see any worn parts .
Does anyone know if the steering box would be covered under the 7/70 ? Wheel bearings should be but not sure if they will .
Not sure if dodge has a extended warranty over the 7/70 or if its even worth it , I did see a few post of guys that were quoted 3K for a extended .
Thanks guys

the 7/70 is powertrain only it will cover your engine, tranny, ujoints, axles, there is a $100 deductible. If they have to destroy a part to fix a covered part then they have to cover that too.its all in the owners manual. Hubs are not covered. after the 7/70 u have engine only for 7/100. u must pay the transfer fee and must only be the 2nd owner.
