6speed Trans drain/fill plug
Does anyone know what tool it is to remove the drain and fill plug on the 6 speed standard trans (2006)? It does not look like the torque (t50,t60) bolts.

There is no drain plug on the 6 speed, you use the lowest bolt on the pto cover on the side of the transmission. I would recommend taking the cover off if this is the first drain because all the oil does not drain out by just removing the bolt. About a half a quart or better stays in the transmission. You will need some RTV for the cover.
The fill plug is a 17MM Hex wrench. A poor mans wrench is a 10MM bolt. I think it's a 10MM bolt, you can check by using a 17MM wrench on the head. Just double nut the bolt or weld a nut on and then use the bolt along with your 17MM wrench to take the plug out.
