6sp No Reverse...Bad?...or Really Bad??
So I was plowing tonite and about the 5th pass, reverse went out. I have the NV5600. I searched this forum and Google and didn't see anyone else with this issue...any help would be appreciated!!

No symptoms, just gone ????
A manual is direct connect so unless you lost a shifter linkage of some sort, that's bad. You should be able to tell if the shift lever is actually moving tranny parts or just free floating. If the gear is gone it should have made some noise or something.

The Dodge mech. that rebuilt mine said the rev. synchro is a weak point - something about a single blocker. I'm pretty sure the first owner hit rev. a lot instead of 5th and trashed it. Craig
