6 Speed shifter
Hey I need some help----
My little wifey seems to have alot of problems with the console and the way DC has place the 6 speed shifter. The 5 speed used to be up away from the leg section of the seat. Has anyone tried putting a curve in the 6 speed shifter???? It seems that I could give her a little more room in the middle seat if it was curved upward about 3 inches. I am aware of the short shifter, I don't want a shorter shifter just up and away so that I'm not cracking her knees all the time.
Thanks for your help.

I bent mine about 6" closer. I also welded it solid on the bottom because it would twist the rubber damper on the bottom of the shaft when shifting. The shifter is designed to be straight.
