What is the difference between the gear ratios in the 5 speed to the 6 speed?

6th has a slightly lower 1st and taller OD with an extra gear thrown in between to reduce the rpm drop during a shift.

Here are the gear ratio's:
6 spd
1st 5.63
3.38
2.04
1.39
1
6th 0.73

5 spd
1st 5.61
3.04
1.67
1
5th 0.75

I've had both. The only place you will notice a difference is that with the 5-speed the third to fourth shift is a BIG jump.
