Lookin at a used hemi 2500, more for a off road truck than anything, which is why im lookin at the hemi 2500. Anyone know the torque rating for the transmission? If i read the code right its only 400 but I would think it had more than that

 

I've heard they are pretty weak and not easily built up.

I would try to find a 2500 Hemi with 5 or 6 speed manual IMO

 

I too would look for a manual. I have driven both and the auto trannie trucks seems week on the bottom end, compared to the manual... They both seem like 4cyl's compared to my truck (even with my PoD at 50)
