4WD Issue, Truck Bucking

Today in a large empty parking lot I switch (electric) my truck to 4L. To my surprise the 4WD just flashed and did not stay on. I made a turn and the truck bucked like a bronco engine RPM going up and down. I tried 4H but did the same thing. Last time I had it in 4WD and made the turn it made just a little expected binding sound.

Any idea what is wrong?

To shift into our out of low range the gears in there have to line up. It will make that shift better if you are just barely moving forward.

Bucking as things bind up and finally skid a tire when in 4x4 on dry pavement making a turn I would think is normal, and not recommended.

When you did it before, were you on clean and dry pavement?

If you were on dry pavement....Normal.
No wheel slip. The driveline was just try to twist it self apart. That torque has to go somewhere.

Got it figured out. It helps if you read the manual. I guess when I did it the transfer case did engage but the electric 4WD did not finish its thing hence the flashing 4WD. I knew the transfer case engaged but my concern was the flashing 4WD. All is well no and thank you all for the reply.
