48RE trans temps ?? Guru's
I just installed two thermocouple leads; temp probes, on my transmission lines. One on the trans oil out line about 6" from the trans and one on the trans cooler return line about 12" from where it returns back into the trans. I would like to know from you 48RE guru's what kind of temps I should expect when just driving around town and then when pulling my FW which is 32' and weighs around 11K. My truck is a 2006 CTD SLT Big Horn 4x4 swb with 15k miles on it. I am new to pulling a FW; but not new to pulling trailers. Thanks ahead of time !!

i have one tranny temp gauge (probe)installed in the hot line another tranny temp gauge (probe) installed in my mag-hytec tranny pan. with outside temps in the 50's- i see temps of around 140 degrees from the hot line and about 25 degrees cooler from the tranny pan-driving on the highway.
