48RE stutter shifting

My 48RE just began an odd habit (at 1500ish miles).

On one small hill coming home it will repeat this kind of stutter shift every time. Light throttle, starting at low speed, up a slight incline.

Shifts at about 2000 down to 1600, goes up to about 2000 again, shifts down to 1600 then immediately back to 2000.

Any ideas?

Mine does the same thing. I think it is the TC locking and unlocking.
I can repeat it if on level ground and approach a slight incline.

Get the recall work done. You can find it in a sticky thread here. At least you can talk to your dealer about what's going on at that time.

I wondered about the recall before I posted my question... but the thread didn't say much about symptoms. In any case, I just checked the Dodge site and my VIN is not affected.

It's a kind of odd hunting, pretty quick, without any load, and not on a steep hill.

btw, what is "WOT"?
