Question 47re Tranny

I have the 47re tranny and we are pulling about a 16000# fifth wheel about 4000 miles a year.. Have 60,000 miles and no problems so far but I have only owned this truck about one year and I installed the BD chip and only have it on the 1st setting, How far am I pushing it?

I would think that you are safe and not pushing it really, but the pro's will chime in shortly.

i think you are ok. i have had the same setup since new, same miles and no problems at all. i pull travel trailer, and two farm tractors never have even serviced tranny and all is well. i am however waiting on upgrades tc/vb ect. but only because i wanted to. decided my zero problem truck was better than trading on new so i am treating my baby to dunrite products.
